Attempted Theft from Property

The suspect was on the property trying to gain access to the house when the resident saw him. He ran away jumping into the neighbour’s property. The neighbour saw this and immediately radioed for assistance on his DPVwatch radio. The suspect jumped the wall onto the road and tried to run away but he was followed by the member. The suspect then got onto another property, accessed the garage and hid. Numerous DPVwatch members and SAPS responded to the radio call and the area was surrounded. SAPS then accessed the garage and found the suspect.
Reported to SAPS.
