Delphinium Street – Tuesday, at 05:40
Two men in a red and white Citi Golf tried to steal a bakkie. They were disturbed and abandoned their vehicle and fled on foot. The Citi Golf had been hot wired and three car batteries, car tapes and numerous licence disks and registration plates were found in the vehicle

The property’s roller gate was lifted off its tracks, so that thieves were able to enter the property. Items were stolen from unlocked vehicles.

Exner Avenue – Sunday, approximately 06:50
Armed response company responded to alarm alert; resident confirmed intruder on property. AR was dispatched, and apprehended suspect matching the description on corner of Noordelik Avenue and Derry Street.
SAPS were informed but the client declined to lay a charge and suspect was released.

Suspect jumped over wall of property, managing to avoid beams somehow.

Red and white scooter stolen. Suspect crashed scooter outside Wizards. Victim realized that the suspect must have broken in and taken his shoes then the scooter after finding the keys. Suspect fled the scene of the crash.

A man wearing white T-shirt with big number 9 on it was seen to smash back windscreen of car. He grabbed an unidentified object and walked down towards the skatepark. Armed response/members were alerted but could not find him.

Suspects (3) crawled under beams to avoid alarm. Took Laptop, monitors and other items

Pinoak Street – Saturday, at abou 02:20
Resident was awoken by a noise at about 2.30 am and switched light on in bedroom, which appeared to scare intruder(s) off. In the morning, resident saw that the beading had been removed from the wooden window frame in lounge.

Clairwood Avenue – Thursday, about 03:24
Resident who had gone out to have a smoke surprised two intruders on his property. The resident yelled at the men, who sprinted through the back yard and fled up the green belt towards the mountain. Video footage shows three men hiding in bushes across the road before the incident.

When residents woke up in the morning, a pair of male black Adidas Size 8 hiking shoes had been taken from their outside area next to their bedroom window. There was a small rock next to their gate which faces the road; blood stains were wiped on the outer wall and blood drops on the outside of the gate, which had been damaged.

Resident’s vehicle broken into but no sign of forced entry, so possibly remote was jammed. Items stolen: air compressor, tyre pressure checker, car phone charger, 40 boxes of Medspresso coffee capsules, six bottles of Liviana olive oil, one bag of perfumes.

Anenome Street – Tuesday, approximately 20:30
An intruder jumped over the wall of the property. Armed Response patrolman responded and held the suspect until SAPS arrived.

Cnr Davenport and St James streets – Tuesday, between 00:00 and 06:00
For the second time in a week, a resident found her vehicle doors unlocked and that vehicle had been searched and small items stolen. The vehicle has central locking and she always checks that it is locked. No sign of force entry so unclear how vehicle was broken into.
