Vredehoek: between 18h30 & 19h30 - Vehicle (silver Mercedes Vito) was parked in the driveway at the Hertzlia field. When the owners returned to the vehicle, they noticed that the back driver’s side window had been smashed out and a laptop in a bag had been stolen. It seems as if the suspect was disturbed as only the laptop was taken and nothing else that was in the vehicle. No response from the roving SAPS vehicle, but CBAR reacted very quickly. A suspicious black male with a red baseball cap was seen, but ran and hid when approached. The incident has been reported to SAPS: Case Number cas1394/10/2010.
