A car battery was stolen from a Ford Bantam bakkie during the day. A resident saw two men carrying a battery each at 16:30 under the Mill Street bridge on Upper Buitenkant Street that could possible have been connected to this incident.

Access to the property was gained from the mountain side through a gate. The back door and security gate were forced open. Stolen items include: TV, 3 laptops, electronics and clothes. The suspects escaped using the same route. DPV and SAPS responded.

Intruders forced a wooden back door open and then forced the aluminium kitchen door open. It set off the alarm. CBAR responded to the alarm and patrollers were on scene.

A man was robbed of his cell phone by two men while he was sitting in his car. One of the suspects had a firearm. Both suspects were smartly dressed and fled down Plantation Road and crossed Philip Kgosana. One of the suspects were caught and was arrested by SAPS.

Persons got over the electric fence on the Frank Avenue side and tried to gain entry to the house when the alarm was triggered. CBAR and SAPS rushed to the property, but the suspects had already fled.
