Two well dressed men gained access to a property via the remote-controlled driveway gate. They proceeded to attempt opening a storeroom with a ‘key’ until they were disturbed. They then acted calmly and proceeded to one of the units in our building, knocking on the door. They then promptly left the building through the pedestrian gate.

A well built man was seen carrying a large black bag over his shoulder after a resident woke up from a muffled sound. He started to run in the direction of Upper Mill Street when a torch was shone on him. The passenger door of the car was left slightly open and the spare tyre plus rim was stolen.

Two men arrived in a vehicle and robbed an Uber delivery driver at gunpoint of his cell phone and the food he was delivering. The Uber delivery employee was on his motorbike in the presence of an unarmed security guard at a complex.

A person gained access from a neighbouring block by using a dustbin lid as protection to climb over a barbed wire and electric fence. A gate remote was taken from a car and a braai and umbrella were stolen. The neighbouring block’s electric fence was off that specific evening.
