Rear passenger window of vehicle parked on corner of St James and Escombe Roads smashed. Unknown what, if anything, was stolen.

Toddler’s pink balance bike was stolen. Resident thought the culprit managed to pull it close to gate and then threw it over the electric fence.

The suspects gained access to the vehicle. The neighbours informed me on Sunday after the robbery. The suspects removed the spare wheel, tools, jack and other equipment from my vehicle. Suspects were driving a white Citi Golf.

A flat was broken into Two people were seen running from the property and got into separate vehicles.

St James Street – Saturday, 11:20
A man was seen walking past a block of flats and then returning. After ringing a couple of bells several times, he jemmied the lock and spent about 15 minutes in a flat. As he came out a silver Mercedes pulled up. He put a MacBook in the vehicle, went back to fetch a microwave over and then they drove off.

Resident’s car alarm went off around 6:30 am. She ran out to find rear window behind the driver’s seat smashed. Apparently some people saw the man responsible: he was wearing all black with a black jacket and ran away down the road. A grey coat and a black jersey were taken.

When resident arrived home, 2 men were outside yelling at each other and gearing up for a fight. The following morning the resident found his car had a big dent in the side and he couldn’t open the door (as though someone had been pushed into it). There were no witnesses.

A property on three levels was burgled. Suspects tried to gain access to the first level but failed. A door to the second level was forced open and a laptop and handbag were taken and a television was taken from the third level.

A woman in the street was robbed of her cell phone. She had been taking pictures of a property when a passerby grabbed her phone and ran off.
