A resident walking up Upper Mill Street was robbed of her cell phone by four street children. A car guard from Gardens was able to retrieve the phone.

Resident arrived home to find two men working in his garden. They said a man in a black Audi had told them to work in the garden, and that he had opened the gate for them. (The gate was still locked.) The resident asked them to leave; when he said he was phoning the police, they left. One of the men had worked for the resident a few months ago but had run off with pruning sheers and money he had asked for in advance.

A camera alert was sent to residents when three men wearing balaclavas and gloves entered a property. Watchcom alerted ADT who attended with some DPV members. The suspects scaled the fence on to Chelmsford and ran in the direction of Escombe to get away.
