A women was approached by two black men who grabbed her bag and ran off with it. No description of the suspects. Reported to SAPS

Attempted theft from property ARREST

Aandbloem - Friday 15:45
A man jumped over the property wall and accessed the house through the dog flap. This activated the alarm. He grabbed something from the house and jumped back over the wall. ADT were coming down the street so he jumped back onto the property and then ran through the two neighbouring properties and back onto the road. He was spotted by ADT and arrested by them and SAPS.

A car near the intersection with Chelsea Avenue was broken into - a USB cable was stolen.

Mugging

Aandbloem -Monday 9pm.
A women was returning home and was walking to her house. She was approached by a man who attempted to steal her bag, cellphone and laptop. She tried to hold onto the items and screamed for help. A local vagrant saw and heared the incident happening and hit the suspect over the head with a bottle. He appeared stunned and dizzy for a few moments. The suspect dropped most of the items and ran off with the cellphone. So James was the hero of the hour!
Reported to SAPS.

Deer Park parking area - 15:30.
A women was sitting at the picnic tables in the Deer Park entrance when she was approached by the black men. They grabbed her bag and ran off with it. It is a squarish brown bag. The suspects are two young black males thought to be about 16 and 18 years old. Incident has been reported to SAPS

Back window of the car was smashed. A jacket and jumper cables were stolen. Reported to SAPS

Resident left and was sure the door was locked. When returning the door was open. A laptop had been stolen. Reported to SAPS.

Clifford Avenue - Friday 7th Oct between 18:00 & 00:00

On Friday evening a resident of Disa Park walking home was attacked at about 20.00 hrs by two young coloured men who jumped out of the shadows and stabbed the resident in both his legs and into his back. Then they robbed the victim of his cellphone and his wallet and ran away. The victim made it to Disa Park Security Office where an ambulance was called. He was bleeding heavily and the lung penetrated. After 40 minutes the ambulance arrived and provided the victim with oxygen and drove with him to the Christiaan Banard Memorial Hospital where he was stabilised.

Upper Mill Street - Thursday 21:10
A passing DPV member spotted a man walk away from a parked car with the alarm going off and noticed the back passenger window was smashed. Suspect was chased on foot by DPV watch to Hope Street but managed to escape.
Black male, about 5ft8, slender build, dark skin. Wore a grey tracksuit top with hoodie over his head, blue jeans.

No forced entry as the door was apparently left open. The suspect gained access and stole a laptop and cellphone. The resident awoke and screamed at the man who then ran off. Reported to SAPS

Virginia Ave - Saturday 16:00
Two men broken into the house but nothing was taken as they were disturbed. They jumped over the back wall to the property which leads onto the school fields. SAPS and ADT searched for them but they could not be found. Reported to SAPS

Anemone Road - Saturday 02:30.
A black Polo had its rear passenger window smashed. Suspect was a black male wearing blue jeans and what appeared to be a bandage on the one leg.
