Victim was standing on the pavement in front of residence with phone in hand tracking an Uber, suspect sprayed unknown liquid in her face and grabbed her phone. Suspect ran away down Seymour Avenue towards Buitenkant Street , I screamed and ran after him, neighbours ran outside and someone chased him. The Uber driver tracked my phone and suspect was arrested in Bradwell street. I found my phone buried in a flowerbed of 16 Bradwell using Find my phone

A person dressed as a security guard came onto the property. Appears as if the wall was scaled as gate closed. Suspect shone torch into room where a person was sleeping. Intruder was scared off by victim shouting and drove off in a security car. No call was made to any security company.

Resident parked vehicle outside in the morning, when they got back to the vehicle a suspect was sitting inside of the vehicle. The resident shouted at the suspect, then the suspect said they were waiting for someone. The resident later realised that the suspect had stolen a charger and a toy handbag.

Armed response was activated and reported access to property was gained via the pedestrian gate. A plasma television and a safe was taken. It was not known what else was missing as the owner was away. SAPS were in attendance. It was later reported the flying squad had retrieved the safe and its contents.

Victim was approached from the back by the attacker. The victim got into a scuffle with the perpetrator who pulled a knife from his waistband and swung it at the victim. The perpetrator was pushed to the sidewalk and the victim managed to get away. The attacker fled when the victim pointed his gas gun at him.

The burglars gained access to the back roof of the property, removed some roof tiles and entered the roof space. They disconnected the alarm (probably by disabling the radio connection first) without setting it off. They broke through the ceiling and ransacked the house. They stole various electronics, jewellery, shoes, rucksack, cologne. They left through the back door, broke the padlock on the back gate and exited the property on Ludlow Road.
