The monitoring centre received a call reporting that as per camera footage, a person was seen using a step ladder to gain access over the back wall of a premises. Armed Response was dispatched. SAPS was in attendance and the suspect arrested.

3 well dressed men asked directions to Spar then drew a gun and robbed a domestic worker. Took her phone. Corner of Gardenia and Freesia.

Suspect jumped over the property’s fence between 11 and 12. The domestic worker’s bag (a black and maroon bag, with a wallet, keys and clothes inside) was taken off the bed in the main bedroom.

Two suspects walking up and down Upper Mill Street. A suspect finds front gate open, rummaged through the dirt bins. After waiting around a bit, he jumps over the wall into the servitude/common area. He is then seen looking through the back door, then moves around the side and appears to be looking thought the windows. The suspect fled the scene when the camera alarm went off.

Monitored camera alerts led to a suspect found inside a resident’s vehicle. The suspect was later linked to a second charge for a car break-in on St James Street, where the owners’ property was recovered and returned.

Victims walked to waiting Uber. Suspect grabbed the one victim from behind and pushed her around, victim fell on the road and hit her head and arm. The other victim was hit in the face before retaliating. Suspect fled when the Uber driver chased him.

Rugley Road – Monday, 07:17
The alarm had activated the night before and armed response did a front perimeter check due to high walls with spikes. On receiving call of burglary the next day, armed response was again dispatched and on arrival reported access was gained via the roof and the house had been ransacked and the safe emptied. SAPS were in attendance.
