A vehicles back window was smashed to gain entry and a number of small items were stolen.

Pypies Square - Saturday, at about 20:25
Access was gained to a vehicle without any signs of forced entry and a childrens pram and two bicycles were stolen. CCTV footage from a neighbour showed a tall, thin suspect wearing a crop top open the vehicle and walk away.

Access was gained to a vehicle without any signs of forced entry and the centre console had been emptied of small items including a cheap pair of sunglasses. The car alarm did not activate.

a suspect was seen carrying a vehicles battery down the road. When confronted he discarded the battery and fled the area. The owner retrieved his property.

Suspects broke the left small back window of a rented car and gained access to the car by winding down the big window. Four pairs of shoes, a jacket and a pair of sunglasses were stolen. The car belongs to Europcar and was rented by German tourists.

Residents locked and alarmed their vehicle and when they returned to it in the morning they found it was still locked. Access had been gained to the vehicle and the interior showed signs of disturbance. The radio front piece, a cellphone cradle, some other small items from the cubbyhole and drinks from the armrest fridge were stolen. The fuse box had been opened and the remote and alarm system were disabled.

Two suspects attacked a complainant who was walking down the road. It is unknown if anything was stolen as the incident was witnessed by residents of nearby apartments.

A suspect approached and threatened a complainant with a piece of broken glass and stole a K-Way backpack before running away.

A security guard on a construction site was tied up while suspects emptied a tools container.

Bellair Road - Wednesday, between 06:00 and 18:00
An apartment was broken into by forcing the front door open with a tire iron/crowbar. The front gate was easily opened. A number of electrical items stolen, including two TVs, a computer screen and lots of camera’s and camera equipment.

Seymour Avenue - Tuesday, at about 02:00
A resident woke up at approximately 02:00 to the sound of the apartment block gate being opened,followed by the sound of footsteps in the property. Later that morning a laptop which was left inside a ground floor apartment was found to be missing. Shoe print marks were seen on the wall outside, leading into one of the apartment’s gardens and upon inspection, a shoe print mark was found on the windowsill of the apartment.

Davenport Road - Monday, at about 06:05
a resident woke up to find a suspect attempting to steal a Weber Braai outside a bedroom window. The resident confronted the suspect who threatened him with a machete before escaping over the wall without the Weber.
