Two men were outside the apartment door. They were then observed climbing over the fence into the font courtyard of the apartment next door. On being confronted the men claimed to be looking for the garden service where after they jumped over the front wall and ran away.

An intruder climbed over the front gate and then proceeded to climb over a higher security gate leading to the backyard while the owner was in the property. When confronted the intruder got injured while retreating over the spikes on the gate to the street.

Three male suspects forced open the front door of a property while residents and their domestic worker were home. The husband confronted the intruders and was stabbed in the left forearm. The suspects fled the scene without taking anything.

Rear passenger window was broken and vehicle was rummaged through. Hiking boots and some small change were taken. The perpetrator was apprehended and linked to two other theft out of motor vehicles in the same area that morning. The vehicle owner declined to press charges as the suspect was under age. SAPS handed the suspect over to Social Services.

Rear palisade fence on table mountain was bent open and removed. Front window was broken with bricks. TV, VR headset and other electronics were stolen and probably moved back into the mountain through the fence. An intruder was surprised in the house by the boarder. No sign of forced access although the lockbox with house key in was open and empty, so the suspect could have broken the box. The suspect claimed he was the gardener, but on contacting the owner she confirmed that she does not have a gardener. During an altercation, the boarder was stabbed with a screwdriver. The assailant was tracked by DPV members and armed response when he fled and later arrested in the CBD.
