A resident, parking his vehicle, a VW Polo hatch, was hijacked by two suspects who approached him on foot, armed with a knife. Other residents followed vehicle and information passed on to SAPS and Flying Squad immediately. The vehicle was stopped and the suspects arrested.

A resident was robbed at knife point by a man on the intersection of Exner Avenue and Davenport Road. She was pushed to the ground and her moonbag with phone and housekeys was stolen. A man matching the description of the assailant was apprehended a few minutes later by SAPS but did not have knife or stolen goods on him. Unknown if resident confirmed correct person.
