Attempted Theft of Motor Vehicle

Visitors’ VW Polo parked on street. The perpetrators trying to steal vehicle were chased away by residents. The vehicle was completely disabled, could not be locked and the hooter was also non-functional.
Unknown if reported to SAPS.
