Attempted Street Robbery - with a dangerous weapon

While ringing the buzzer on street outside property a visitor was accosted by a man demanding her bag. The victim did not initially respond so he repeated demand while reaching into his bag for what she suspected could be a weapon. An Uber driver parked nearby saw the altercation and jumped out his car at which point the assailant ran down Upper Maynard.
Not reported to SAPS.
