A resident noted that the alarm log outside beams had been activated. Thereafter he checked the CCTV cameras footage and saw footage of an intruder moving a bin into the driveway. He used the bin to step on and then entered the property and took a water pump after looking around and exited the property same way. The DPV member posted a picture of the intruder on the DPV WhatsApp group for zone 1, the message was put on the radio network and the suspect was arrested by SAPS in Maynard Street.
Case opened at SAPS.
