Attempted theft of vehicle
Watsonia Road - Friday at 04:30
The back passenger window of the car was broken. The contents of the cubby hole were on the passenger seat but nothing had been taken. The driver’s seat was fully reclined and the cover to the fuse box was removed. The bonnet was popped open. It looks as if they were trying to steal the vehicle but they were disturbed. Neighbours who came out to investigate when woken by barking dogs saw a red backpack next to the vehicle. They went inside and came back minutes later and it was gone. Our LPR Cameras picked up a possible suspect who was walking out the area down Barnham Road a few minutes after this. It appears that he had an accomplice.
Reported to SAPS.
