Theft of vehicle - ARREST

A White Polo with registration CA 736 917 was stolen. The theft was captured on the Herzlia surveillance cameras. The suspects were driving a Maroon BMW 318i with registration CA 414 895. Two suspects were in the Polo and the other 2 were in the BMW. SAPS saw the vehicles on Sidmouth Road and tried to pull the Polo over. The BMW purposefully got in the way to prevent this and thus enabled the Polo to get away. SAPS then chased the BMW out of the area and they eventually crashed into the barrier on Jutland Avenue. SAPS arrested the two occupants and found tools for stealing vehicles in the car. SAPS are now investigating to find the other two suspects who got away in the stolen Polo.
