Florida : between 10h30 & 11h30 - Upon returning home, the resident found security gate and front door broken open. Intruders stole a 42-inch flat screen tv, Imac desk top, camera, jewellery and perfume. The small apartment block is supposedly secure with an electric fence and an electronic gate, so it’s unsure how the intruders managed to escape without difficulty! The incident was reported to SAPS (case number 798/6/2011). Finger prints were taken the following day, but it was inconclusive as the security gate and door had already been repaired by the resident to secure the apartment. According to the neighbour, a loud banging noise was heard around the time of the break-in, but did not suspect anything until later.
