We are DPV WATCH!

Building a safe and secure community-based neighbourhood together!

DPVwatch aims to be a vibrant, inclusive and effective community based organisation and to actively work with all law‐abiding citizens, business and agencies to facilitate a friendly, safe, secure and caring neighbourhood.

DPVwatch is an accredited Neighbourhood Watch (DCS 15/18/352), officially accredited by the Western Cape Department of Police Oversight and Community Safety (POCS) and is committed to operating in accordance with the Code of Conduct for Accredited NHWs (June 2016).

By means of an active membership DPVwatch aims to disrupt the opportunity for criminal activity in our neighbourhood. Each member can act as ‘eyes and ears’ on our streets, alerting our security service providers of suspicious behaviour and persons of interest before a crime has been attempted. Please report all crimes and attempted crimes to SAPS and complete a detailed incident report.

Join DPVwatch! Be part of the solution for a safe and secure neighbourhood for all.

You do not need to be a member of DPVwatch to report a crime.
