Attempted theft from motor vehicle

A resident was alerted to his car alarm being triggered and he ran outside. DPV patrollers heard the alarm and rushed to the scene, but there was nobody in sight. The following morning the resident noticed that someone had tried to steal the radio. The quick reaction by patrollers interrupted them.
Not reported to SAPS.
