Residents woke up around 01:00 from suspicious noises, but they couldn’t see anything. There is an abandoned house next door and they assumed the noise came from there. SAPS were called, but the resident is not sure whether they arrived. The following morning they noticed that their braai was gone and the garden gate was open. The intruder managed to climb over an active electric fence from the empty property.
Unknown if reported to SAPS.
