Attempted Theft of Motor Vehicle

The back door of resident’s old Land Rover appeared to have been jimmied open. It seems that the perpetrator(s) tried to steal the vehicle, as they managed to remove the stearing wheel lock (and stole the lock), broke off the steering wheel cover and messed with the starter cables. They also broke off the oil gauge out of the dashboard.
Not reported to SAPS.
