Resident noticed a suspicious looking person fiddling in a backpack across the road at the neighbour’s car. When he approached to check he noticed the boot ajar. As he was opening the boot to check contents the suspect attempted to take the tyre and run. The resident managed to grab the tyre.
Unknown if reported to SAPS.
