Attempted theft from motor vehicle

Plantation Road - Sunday, at about 23:30
A slender male was seen removing the wheel nuts of a parked vehicle. The suspect had a dark coloured baseball cap on and had his own wheel spanner. When confronted he ran down Barnham Avenue towards De Waal Drive. It was discovered that he removed all the nuts from the right front wheel and was busy with the left front wheel when confronted. It looked like he was operating alone.
