Vredehoek Avenue - Monday, at about 02:15
A resident woke up to a loud bang which they then reported to SAPS. SAPS stopped behind a vehicle with a taxi sign on the roof and searched two male suspects. Once the suspects and their vehicle had been searched SAPS left the scene. After this the passenger got out the car and ran quickly to retrieve a tire from a garden which has a low wall and rolled a wheel to the car. SAPS was called again but by then the suspect vehicle had left the area.
Unknown if reported to SAPS
