Attempted theft from property

Rocklands Avenue - Sunday, at about 17:30
A resident heard his doorbell ringing and he went to have a look. He saw now one so assumed it had just been someone walking down the road. A minute later he heard people trying to break open his front door and he set of his panic button. The resident across the road saw the suspects running away and getting into a getaway vehicle.
It was then discovered that the same people had rang a door bell on Frank Avenue. When the resident answere they apologies and said they were looking for No. 25 and they left.
