Attempted theft from property

Upper Mill Street - Monday, at about 04:15
A resident woke up to find a suspect in her bedroom. She screamed and her roommate helped chase the suspect out of the house. Entry was gained through the living room door, which had been forced open and only a set of keys were stolen though the suspect had packed up all the electronic equipment, alcohol and sporting goods into bags.
Reported to SAPS
