Gardenia Avenue - Friday, at about 06:30
A resident noticed an intruder on their property trying to break in. The resident shouted and the suspect ran. He was chased by neighbourhood watch, but he managed to lose them in the Zonnebloem area. Whilst fleeing, he dropped a laptop that he had stolen from Aandbloem Street.
