Theft out of motor vehicle

A member noticed a vehicle with three occupants doing a few circles around the top of Derry, Belladonna and Noordelik roads. It was a very light blue/grey Hyundai i10 with registration CV 21 BX GP. The vehicle then left the Spar parking and the man who was on foot ran down the road into Noordelik to jump into the car that was now waiting. He was running with a black handbag. He had used a remote jammer to stop the car that had just arrived from being locked. As soon as the person was in the Spar he went into the car and stole the bag. The vehicle was chased out of the area and into town. Because of the rush hour traffic it was eventually lost. There was a brilliant response from members who came rushing when the radio calls for assistance were made. It was discovered later on that they had stolen from 2 cars at that time.
