Theft out of vehicle - ARREST

A resident was returning home when she saw a man walking down Bradwell Road. She had seen the same man earlier but this time he was carrying a bag. She followed him and asked SAPS to make their way to speak to him. The suspect realised that that he was being followed and tried to dump the bag and contents. He then started to run. SAPS and other members responded and the man was stopped. It appeared that he had stolen beer in the bag which he had tried to dispose of. It was later determined that he had stolen the beer from a car parked outside Tops Spar.
