Davenport Road - Tuesday around 05:00
with an intruder in her bedroom, he advised her that he didn’t want to hurt her but wanted her money and cell phone. The resident made a run for it out of her bedroom window and went to a neighbors house and called the police. It was determined that he had gained access to the flat by climbing up the outside gutter pipe and opened a sliding window that had been closed but not locked.
The suspect was a young african male, slight build, wearing a blue tracksuit. He was on foot.
Reported to SAPS.
