Attempted theft from property

ADT woke the residents when they saw that the garage door was open. They had also seen two people running up the road and possibly getting into a white vehicle that left very quickly. As a result of them being disturbed nothing was stolen from the garage. The owner was alert through the night looking out over the garage and saw a colored male and female walk past about 30 minutes later and appear to look directly at the garage. It is possible that these are the suspects. She again alerted SAPS but the suspects could not be located.
Thinnish colored male wearing a red t-shirt and red backpack and the women was also colored and wearing a white and black stripped jersey.

    It appears there currently is a spate of possible related breakins aimed at garages in the vicinity. This resident saw the criminals and added some valuable info. Why was this not reported to SAPS? Can she also remember the time she saw them?

    Hi Johan

    The information came to us via SAPS. The women who witnessed the two suspects called the police straight away and they searched the area. It is our understanding from what is being stolen and a SAPS informant that a car is being used as a getaway vehicle and may have been parked close by. No cases was opened with SAPS. The incident happened at 3am and we have noted the time on the incident report.
