Intruder inside home

Chelmsford : 16h30 - On entering the flat at Hanse Cape Village, the resident discovered 2 black males in one of the upstairs bedrooms. One of them grabbed a pair of scissors and tried to stab at the resident, who backed downstairs with the intruders following him, then out of the flat into the corridor. The intruders tried to run away, but one of them was not quick enough and the resident managed to detain him until the police arrived on the scene to take him into custody. The detained intruder is described as being around 1.78m tall with a darkish complexion, missing some upper front teeth, wearing blue jeans and a fleece top with mixed blue and light blue patterns, and a beanie. The intruder who escaped was also about 1.78m tall, round faced, very short hair, lightish complexion, average build, around 18/20yrs old, wearing a faded pink top with light gray / beige pants. The incident has been reported to SAPS : case number 192/6/2011.
