Theft of Motor Vehicle

Davenport: between midnight & 07h00 - Vehicle was parked in driveway in front of a small block of apartments behind a closed, remote controlled, high gate. Sometime during the course of the night the vehicle was stolen. The cover to the gate motor was broken off and the gate opened. The cover to the keyhole and what looks like a piece of a car jack was found lying on the ground (see photo). It is suspected that the theft occured in early hours of morning as the suspects had to jump a high gate and tamper with the motor in full view of the street. The incident has been reported to SAPS.

    The vehicle was spotted in Bellville the following day and the driver was allegedly drinking!
